Pro-Palestinian activists have broken into a facility belonging to defense contractor Ultra Intelligence & Communications (I&C) in Hertfordshire, damaging military satellites intended for delivery to Israeli occupation. The action was deliberately carried out on the 109th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration.
The action was claimed by the activist network “People Against Genocide,” which stated that members entered the site and disrupted hardware intended for direct delivery to the Israeli occupation military. The group said the move was taken to interrupt the supply chain fueling the genocide in Gaza.
The activists chose November 2 to mark the 1917 Balfour Declaration, the historic British government statement that pledged support for the establishment of a national home for the Jewish people in occupied Palestine. The network said the date was chosen to highlight Britain’s historic and ongoing role.
According to the group, the equipment included military satellites and tactical communications hardware prepared for shipment. Ultra I&C specializes in tactical battlefield communications, cyber encryption, and artificial intelligence-enabled mission software designed to synchronize field weaponry with military command-and-control centers.
The company is known to provide critical systems that enhance battlefield coordination for the ‘Israeli’ Occupation Forces. The activists said the firm is directly enabling operations in Gaza through the provision of advanced communications technology used in military operations against Palestinians.
The action in Hertfordshire reflects a growing wave of direct interventions across Britain targeting defense firms linked to ‘Israel’, as public anger grows over the UK government’s continued military and logistical support for the Occupation despite mounting criticism over the genocide in Gaza and the failure of the international system to prevent further escalation.
