A new survey has revealed that over 92% of Israeli settlers believe Iran emerged victorious from the war against the United States and the Israeli occupation, according to reports. The poll, conducted by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Agam Institute between June 17 and 20, found that 92.1% of respondents view Iran as the winner despite weeks of military operations and repeated claims of success by the occupation government.

The findings represent a significant setback for the occupation leadership’s narrative that the war achieved major strategic objectives. According to the survey, 87.8% of respondents believe the occupation either failed to achieve its goals or only partially achieved them, despite official claims that the campaign was intended to eliminate Iran’s nuclear and missile capabilities and weaken Tehran’s regional position.

Public frustration was also reflected in attitudes toward the war itself. The survey found that 82.9% of respondents believe the six-week conflict weakened long-term security, while 86% expressed a negative view of both the outcome of the fighting and the US-Iran agreement that followed.

The poll points to a growing crisis of confidence in the occupation leadership. Nearly three-quarters of respondents said they do not believe Netanyahu’s assertions that major strategic gains were achieved during the conflict, while a majority rated his handling of the war as poor or a failure.

Support for Netanyahu has also declined sharply, according to the survey, reflecting broader public dissatisfaction with the government’s management of the conflict and its aftermath.

The survey suggests many now believe the war failed to deliver the promised results and may have left the occupation in a weaker position than before.

The poll surveyed 3,644 respondents aged 17 and above and reported a margin of error of 2.2% at a 99% confidence level.
