Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has unveiled a “hexagon of alliances” involving India, Greece, and Cyprus. This strategic framework, ostensibly designed to combat “radical axes,” is a thinly veiled attempt to institutionalize the Israeli occupation’s grip on stolen land while recruiting global powers into a coalition that ignores the systematic erasure of the Palestinian people. By framing the resistance of the oppressed as “radicalism,” Netanyahu seeks to legitimize a new security architecture that rewards ethnic cleansing with economic and military integration.

This announcement comes as the Israeli occupation continues its relentless campaign in Gaza, a military offensive that has been widely characterized by international legal experts and the UN as a genocide. For over two years, the world has watched as hospitals, mosques, and schools have been leveled, yet Netanyahu’s response is not a ceasefire, but the expansion of a diplomatic shield. The “hexagon” aims to bypass the moral outrage of the global Muslim community by forging “security” ties with nations like India Israel’s largest arms customer and Mediterranean partners who are now being asked to turn a blind eye to the International Criminal Court (ICC) warrants hanging over the heads of the occupation’s leadership.

The strategic timing of this alliance, just ahead of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit, highlights a disturbing trend of “normalization” that bypasses the fundamental requirements of justice. While the Israeli occupation creates facts on the ground through illegal settlements and the starvation of civilians in Gaza, it is simultaneously building a “land bridge” of trade and intelligence. This is not a search for peace; it is a calculated effort to make the occupation permanent and profitable. By involving India a nation that has increasingly aligned its anti-terrorism doctrine with the brutal Israeli “model” Netanyahu is effectively internationalizing the suppression of Muslim self-determination.

The humanitarian reality under this “hexagon” is catastrophic. As the occupation forces refine their “system,” Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank face what the UN Human Rights Office calls a “permanent demographic shift” driven by ethnic cleansing. Over 460 Palestinians have died from starvation alone, a direct consequence of the occupation’s blockade a method of warfare that is not only a war crime but a direct violation of the Islamic principle of Haqq al-Hayat (the Right to Life). The use of hunger as a weapon against a civilian population is a moral stain that no diplomatic alliance can wash away.

Furthermore, the complicity of the United States and the United Kingdom remains the backbone of this oppression. Despite empty rhetoric regarding “ceasefires,” the U.S. government has funneled over $17.9 billion in military aid to the occupation, including the very 2,000-pound bombs used to massacre families in “safe zones.” The UK government, meanwhile, continues to defend arms exports despite its own legal acknowledgments of the “clear risk” of humanitarian law violations. These powers, along with certain Arab regimes that prioritize trade over the blood of the Ummah, have effectively become silent partners in the destruction of Al-Aqsa’s guardians.

Global reactions have been a mix of strategic celebration in Western capitals and deep, simmering rage across the Muslim world. While the UN warns of a “total collapse of human dignity” in Gaza, the architects of the “hexagon” are busy signing MoUs and defense contracts. Protests from London to Jakarta continue to demand an end to the occupation, but the political elite in the US, UK, and the “normalized” Arab states remain insulated by their contracts and security dependencies.

As of now, the framework for this alliance is being institutionalized through high-level visits and military coordination. Modi’s speech at the Knesset is expected to further solidify this axis, while the people of Gaza remain under siege, facing a future of displacement and death. The “hexagon” is not a shield against radicalism; it is a cage for justice. History will not remember the “fruitful cooperation” Netanyahu promises; it will remember those who stood with the oppressor and those who remained silent while a nation was erased.
