United states sales 20,000 assault rifles to Israel further fueling the palestinian genocide

The United States has once again approved a controversial arms deal with Israel, this time selling 20,000 US-manufactured assault rifles for $24 million. Despite growing international concern over Israel’s treatment of Palestinians, Washington continues to provide it with billions of dollars in military aid each year. The latest shipment, designated for the Israeli National Police, has raised fears that these weapons could be used by extremist settlers who have been attacking Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

Human rights organizations have condemned the deal, warning that increased militarization will only fuel further violence against Palestinian civilians. The sale highlights how the US remains committed to arming Israel, regardless of its actions. While some in the Biden administration reportedly voiced concerns about potential misuse, the transfer still moved forward, demonstrating the enduring nature of US-Israel military cooperation.

Critics argue that by continuously supplying Israel with weapons, the US is enabling its aggressive policies and deepening the suffering of Palestinians. Without American support, Israel’s ability to maintain its occupation and suppress Palestinian resistance would be severely weakened. Yet, despite calls for accountability, Washington remains unwavering in its commitment to ensuring Israel’s military dominance in the region.
