Yemeni Armed Forces Launch Hypersonic Ballistic Missile at Israeli Nevatim Air Base in Support of Gaza.

Sana’a – April 27, 2025

In a bold and unprecedented military move, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the execution of a successful ballistic missile strike against the Nevatim Air Base, a major Israeli military installation located in the Negev region of southern occupied Palestine. The operation, carried out using a hypersonic ballistic missile, marks a significant escalation in regional dynamics, as Yemen deepens its involvement in supporting the Palestinian cause during Israel’s ongoing military assault on Gaza.

The operation, officially declared by the Yemeni Armed Forces in a formal statement, was described as a direct response to the Israeli regime’s continuous crimes against the Palestinian people, particularly the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip. The statement began with a Quranic verse underscoring the spiritual dimension of Yemen’s military action:

“O you who believe! If you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet.”
(Surah Muhammad, 47:7)

According to the statement, the Yemeni missile forces targeted the Nevatim Air Base using an advanced hypersonic ballistic missile. Hypersonic missiles, traveling at speeds greater than five times the speed of sound, pose serious challenges to modern air defense systems. The Yemeni Armed Forces confirmed that the missile successfully hit its intended target, achieving the mission’s objectives by the grace of Allah.

The Yemeni military leadership framed the operation as part of a broader strategic commitment:

In support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their mujahideen, and in rejection of the crime of genocide perpetrated by the Zionist enemy against our people in the Gaza Strip.

The statement further reaffirmed Yemen’s intention to continue enhancing its military capabilities, emphasizing that such development is a divine duty to confront the “arrogance and conceit” of American aggression and its Zionist allies. The Armed Forces vowed to maintain and escalate military operations in support of the Palestinian resistance as long as the aggression on Gaza persists and the unjust siege remains in place.

This operation marks a continuation of Yemen’s declared policy of “supporting the oppressed” and actively participating in efforts to break the siege on Gaza, even from hundreds of kilometers away. It highlights the extent to which the Gaza war has increasingly turned into a regional confrontation, bringing new actors into direct engagement with Israeli military targets.

In concluding remarks, the Yemeni Armed Forces placed their trust in Allah, affirming:

Allah is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs. Excellent is the protector and excellent is the helper.

They reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to the liberation struggles of oppressed nations, calling for resilience, faith, and steadfastness until victory is achieved.

The statement was officially issued today from Sana’a, corresponding to the 29th of Shawwal, 1446 AH — April 27, 2025 AD.
