The Moroccan Notaries Association has signed a legal cooperation agreement with the Israeli Bar Association, marking another step in Morocco’s expanding ties with the Israeli occupation. The agreement is aimed at strengthening institutional links and supporting an investment-friendly environment between both sides.

The deal reportedly focuses on increasing legal coordination, professional exchanges, and cooperation in areas linked to commercial activity. It is expected to facilitate business procedures, legal documentation, and frameworks that encourage cross-border investment.

The latest agreement reflects Morocco’s continued deepening of relations with the Israeli occupation since normalization ties were established. In recent years, cooperation has expanded across diplomatic, economic, tourism, security, and professional sectors.

Supporters of the agreement say stronger legal coordination can improve investor confidence and reduce administrative barriers for businesses. Legal institutions play an important role in contracts, property transfers, and commercial regulation.

Critics, however, view the move as another example of Morocco widening engagement with the Israeli occupation despite the ongoing war in Gaza and continued regional tensions. Such agreements are likely to face criticism from those opposed to normalization.

The signing of the legal accord highlights how Morocco continues to broaden institutional and economic ties with the Israeli occupation, even as anger across the region remains high over events in Palestine.
