The Israeli occupation has assassinated Abu Osama Al-Batsh, Chief of Weapons Staff in the Northern Brigade of the Al-Qassam Brigades and former commander of the Jabalia Al-Balad Battalion. According to reports, Al-Batsh was among the most prominent commanders who participated in the Northern Brigade’s assault during Operation Al-Aqsa Flood. He later led the Jabalia Al-Balad Battalion throughout the defensive battles in northern Gaza. His position placed him at the center of Al-Qassam’s military and weapons coordination in an area that has faced repeated Israeli offensives since October 2023.
