Israeli occupation has reportedly provided the United States with intelligence alleging that Iran is planning a new assassination attempt against US President Donald Trump. According to US media reports published on Thursday, the intelligence describes a “specific” and newly identified threat targeting the American president.
CNN, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter, reported that US officials had already been monitoring what they described as a steady flow of intelligence regarding potential threats against Trump. However, the report said the information shared by Israeli occupation was presented as a new and more specific alleged assassination plot.
The Wall Street Journal, also citing anonymous sources, reported that the intelligence referred to a “fresh” plan to target Trump. Neither publication disclosed evidence supporting the claim, and no official details regarding the alleged plot have been made public.
Responding to the reports, the White House referred to remarks made by Trump aboard Air Force One while returning from the NATO summit. “They want to take out the US leader. I’m on whatever list. I saw this morning I’m on every single one of their lists,” Trump told reporters.
Iran has repeatedly denied previous allegations that it has sought to assassinate Trump, describing such claims as politically motivated. At the time of the reports, Iranian authorities had not publicly responded to the latest allegations attributed to Israeli occupation intelligence.
These developments emerge amid heightened regional tensions following recent military exchanges between Iran, the United States, and Israel, as well as reports of expanding covert operations and intelligence activity. The latest allegations are expected to further strain relations between Washington and Tehran while intensifying security concerns surrounding the US president.
